Augsburg 2022 Deutsche Baumpflegetage (German TreeCare)

It was great to be invited to speak again at this great event in hart of Europe, presenting progress with the research project I started back in 2018-19 that was delayed by Covid 19 looking at Biomechanics of tree climbers and why we seem to be very good and Breack our selfs. The event was very well attended with the climbers forum auditorium played out to seat 500, full with folk standing and sitting in the on the floor for some sessions on the middle day. I was great to catch up with so many tree friends from around the world and get to know some new ones too. The event always has a great pull and Mark and Puke do really well to invite a wide range off speakers with a broad interest off any subjects to do with trees and climbing them, we had trail blazing climbers from India, researchers and photograph climbing rainforest trees and giant redwoods for research, Bee experts looking at how to create better habitats for bees in trees, experts in Trauma and care, Interesting rigging jobs in tight spots in Berlin using buildings as anchor points, the be two system debate after out own changes here in the UK. All in all a great event would recommend the trip to any one.
