LOLER Inspections
Under LOLER regulations, all equipment must be inspected daily before and after use, or after an event that may damage or cause the equipment stress (eg, shock load or impact on a rope from a falling log) and make weekly recorded inspections of high wear items. In addition to your own checks, all equipment must be thoroughly examined by a 'competent person' carrying out a recorded inspection of your kit. PPE/climbing kit should be examined by qualified a LOLOR inspector every 6 months and lowering kit must be examined every 12 months. We can help you manage your records and conduct LOLER inspections for individual climbers or for companies with many employees. Contact us to make an appointment.
Tree Logic adopts a friendly and easy-going approach to providing services that will assist you in complying with the Regulations under LOLER 1998. Tree Logic's inspectors are competent persons, holding current NPTC Cert for the thorough examination of kit. As well as inspecting, we can set you up with paperwork and information to allow you to concentrate on other matters. We can mark up and identify each item of kit and database it for the future. We can then carry out regular inspections at 6 or 12 month intervals. We can also provide record sheets or log books for you to log your weekly inspections and to record purchases and/or traceability of items of kit.
